To Capturing that Moment
I have to admit, this blog has come to be a pretty nice stress reliever. I had a lot of fun writing that last post, maybe it's due to the high-stakes finals week or a spur-of-the-moment splurge. Either way I hope you like it. To be honest, I never though I would EVER find myself writing short stories like this. But it all started from a deviant art piece called Best Friends Forever . I absolutely fell in love with this; I love these retro, vector-style artworks. Its simplicity, and its matter-of-fact genuineness really caught my attention. Right then and there, I stopped everything and started typing. It was exciting, I wanted a way to capture that heartfelt, sentiment of a child. My answer was a short story. It's really these types of moments--moments you're in a flurry to write your thoughts down--that have the potential to define people's lives; such a magical feeling.
